The Adamawa State Government wishes to inform the general public of temporary traffic adjustments ahead of the scheduled working visit of the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to the state.
In line with security and logistical arrangements for the visit, the following roads will be temporarily closed to vehicular movement:
- Airport–Kofare Road through Galadima Aminu Way/Bank Road
- Jimeta Grade Interchange/Police Roundabout
- Justice Buba Ardo Way
- Adamawa Sunshine Express–Faro Road
- Other adjoining and connecting roads within the vicinity
Residents are encouraged to come out peacefully to welcome the President to Adamawa State. Motorists are advised to make use of alternative routes to carry out their lawful activities during the period of the closure.
The government appreciates the understanding and cooperation of members of the public as the state receives the President.
